![]() The Break Even column on the Overview sheet calculates how much you need to sell for to break even, since GE tax means losing money if you sell for the same price you bought at. If it's not empty, it will exclude the entry from the Cost Basis update as well as the totals for how much you've spent, made, and profited, which are tracked in the Overview. I use an "x", but you can put comments or any other letters or symbols there. ![]() If you want to track offers that you're still waiting on, you can mark them as pending by putting literally anything into the pending column for that entry. Track Pending Offers Without Affecting Your Numbers Just select your item from the item dropdown, whether you bought or sold, and enter the quantity and individual price. Easy Transaction Entry with Automatic Totaling, Cost Basis, and Quantity TrackingĮvery time you buy or sell some of your tracked items, you can put in a new entry in the Transaction sheet. Here, you can see my example item that I added to the list in the last feature. You can select any item from the dropdown by scrolling through the list or by selecting Item cell on the Transaction sheet and typing in one of the first letters to narrow the list down. Automatic Dropdown Additions, Pulled from the Item MasterlistĪny item you add to the Item column on the Overview sheet will become available on the Item dropdown on the Transaction sheet. ![]() The cell contents also register as being in the left cell, which triggers the automatic header fill. Combining the cells automatically adopts the format of the left cell, which is set to have bigger, bluer font. To create a new section heading, combine one of the list cells with the cell left of it and then type in the name of your section. I have mine roughly grouped by item type, but you could do yours by price range, flip speed, etc. You can group your items however you like. Features Automatic heading formatting for creating item groups (This is only the end of my transaction list, there's more above) The Transaction sheet is where you enter in new buys or sales of the items you're tracking. The Overview sheet is where you keep your masterlist of items that you merch/flip. I'm a flipping noob so if I'm doing stupid shit, feel free to laugh Overview Sheet So, my screenshots will be featuring my investments. It can be hidden or deleted if you want to use this for rs3. *While I made this, I used my transaction/item history from rs3, since that's where I've been doing most of my flipping while I'm active on osrs, so the prices will look unfamiliar, but the sheet includes a Break Even column that accounts for OSRS GE tax. Below is a general overview of how it works, what features it has, and so on. So, this new spreadsheet is managed entirely from 2 sheets and is ready to use right away. The problem is, the setup of the entire thing is really inefficient and hard to use if you're tracking more than a handful of items. I've been using the last spreadsheet I made since I made it, and have been improving it as I go. I'll be less long-winded with this post, as it's more geared toward people who kind of know how to spreadsheet already. Some of you might have seen and liked my last merching/flipping spreadsheet post which I wrote kind of like a guide to making one, but was probably more useful as a template. ![]() For more information about account bans, click here.
